So now you must be wondering on what kind of feature that Windows 8 can offer??? So here are predictions of eight new features that will exist in Windows 8 :

1. Application Shop
Try to think of stores like App Store application owned by Apple, or Google's Android Marketplace, which will be made by Microsoft. Windows are rumored will build their own application store namely Windows Store. It could be Windows Store will be combined with Windows Phone 7 and supports the Xbox 360. Who knows right???

2. Internet Explorer 9
There is big possibility that Internet Explorer browser 9 (IE9) would be re-packaged by the time Microsoft launched the Windows 8. Why? because the IE market continues to drop, defeated by Firefox and Chrome.

3. Windows Live 5
Details of Windows Live 5 may be present after Windows 8 has been launch. Now Windows Live Wave 4 beta is available. We'll see what's new in Windows Live 5.

4. Schedules Launch of Windows 8
Windows 8 reportedly will be release in mid-2012, while the beta version in mid-2011.

5. Web-Based Applications
Web-based application is now become promising fields for software developers. With the existence of Windows applications store, hopefully Microsoft has targeted this.

6. Three Categories of New Windows 8

According to Microsoft, Windows 8 is aimed at three types of categories of PCs: 'Lap PC', 'Workhorse PC', and 'Family Hub PC'. The possibilities are the netbook, notebooks and tablets will be on Lap PCs category. While the workhorse and Family Hub is intended for office and family.

7. Digital Media
When we discuss about Microsoft digital media, the image that will come into our mind are Windows Media Player, Windows Media Center, and Zune. Now, reportedly Windows 8 will support new formats such as AVC HD, 3D video, and multiple MPEG-4 web-based formats, as well as MJPEG, MPEG-2 (decoding / encoding), H.264 (encoding), and WMV own.

8. Kinect On Windows 8
The motion sensor on Microsoft now is available. Although only produced for the Xbox 360, but just hopping is okay right? It would be fun if Kinect was adopted in Windows 8. Microsoft would certainly be richer, while working with so many gaming vendors.
